Merchant 911 Director publishes article --- Saturday, October 25, 2003
In response to being frequently asked about good fraud prevention techniques for Internet merchants and also questions related to selecting a good online payment processor, Merchant 911 Director, Tom Mahoney has written an extensive article on fruad prevention techniques.
A condensed version of Mahoney's article appears in "E-COMMERCE FRAUD - Up-to-Date Preventive Measures for Merchants" published in White-Collar Crime Fighter (ISSN 1523-0821) Volume 5 No.10 October 2003. The full version will appear in the member area of the Merchant 911 web site before the end of the month.
"The article has been a long time in coming," said Mahoney, who directs Merchant 911 in his free time. "It was written mainly for our members but White-Collar Crime Fighter had approached me for an article on the topic," he continued. Mahoney and the publication's editor worked on condensing the article into the allotted space.
