Merchant 911 Adds Merchant Resource Section --- Sunday, September 5, 2004
Merchant 911 announced today that it has added a Merchant Resource Center to its website at merchant911.org
Merchant 911 director, Tom Mahoney, stated that "We wanted to provide resources for all interested users, not just our members."
The Merchant Resource Center will provide evaluations of specific anti-fraud vendors and provide links to the ones that Merchant 911 feels are doing an outstanding job for their customers. Merchant 911 acknowledges an affiliate relationship with some of the resources listed but, says Mahoney, "We will only list those vendors that we feel are doing the job right. We won't list a company just because it offers us a few dollars." Mahoney also said he won't hesitate to pull a resource that receives complaints from the Merchant 911 members.
Merchant 911 is a free, member-only site providing tools and guidance ot help e-Commerce merchants protect themselves against credit card fraud. The site has been in existence since 2000 and currently has over 2200 members.
Vendors wishing to be included in the Merchant Resource Center can contact merchant 911 using the contact information on the web site.
