CardCops.org Rakes Them in --- Saturday, April 20, 2002

According to a recent article appearing at MSNBC, CardCops.com posted a web site containing bogus credit card information and then posted the web site in the news groups known to be frequented by carders.

Within two days, CardCops had collected 1600 IP addresses from 75 countries. We're not surprised at the large numbers that went to the site to get the information. CardCops will run traces on the numbers and the information will be turned over to the FBI and the U.S. Secret Service.

Merchant 911 salutes Dan Clements and CardCops.com on this ingenious scam of the scammers. We hope some of them get their just rewards!
