Merchant 911 has just added a complete list of all scams AND scammers as reported by our members.
The information is available to all our members.
If you have attempted to scam one of our members and we know it, you ARE listed!
And payment processors and card companies - we ARE getting angry that YOU are not doing your part to protect us.

The miserable Indonesians are at it again! One of our members just reported a series of charge backs coming in as a result of shipments to that country on American credit cards.
No doubt that all the e-tailers that refuse to ship to INDONESIA know what they are doing - cutting losses!
Don't ship to INDONESIA unless you know your customer!!!!!!!

Merchant 911 stops another one --- Friday, April 6, 2001
On April 5, one of our members, Alternatives From Nature , received a suspicious order to be be shipped to Indonesia requesting Global Express Prority Mail.
Merchant 911 was immediately alerted and the merchant went to work using the tools, links, and utilities provided in our member area.
The IP traced back to singtel.com in Singapore. Singapore Telecommunications Ltd; 31 Exeter Road #10-00; Singapore, 239732; SG 65 8382585; Fax- 65 7338237
The email originated from a Domain registered to: PT Boleh Net Indonesia; Wisma GKBI; 1712 Jl Jend Sudirman Kav 28 Jakarta 10210 ID
Those who follow our member pages know that there were three red flags on this order - Indonesia, fast shipping request and e-mail different from ISP.
The Mastercard # 5329-01XX-XXXX-XXXX was issued by MBNA American Bank The bank was contacted. While the bank would not say, it's believed that the card number is a valid issued one and it had not been reported stolen. What the bank DID say was that the name was not right and the address is not even in the right country.

If you arrived at our site as a result of a search engine search looking for hacking or card number generation information:
A) You won't find any
B) You are on notice that your search string and your IP have been logged.
Merchant 911 logs tell a tale --- Sunday, April 1, 2001
Since March 26, the last time we cleared our access logs, we have received 19 hits from people who appear to be looking for credit card number generators and other ways to defraud merchants.
We also had 3 hits from people looking for ways to protect themselves.
The math speaks for itself.
