Real Time Keylogging

I’m sure most of you have heard about keylogging malware. I’m talking about the malware programs installed on computers that log every keystroke to a file that is then uploaded to the bad guy.

This stuff has gotten much more sophisticated. Now everything that you type can be viewed by the bad guys in real-time, as you type! That means they can see anything you type, be it credit card numbers or passwords. Even temporary, numeric, one-time, secret answers to secret questions can be viewed as you type.

That pretty much makes RSA’s SecurID and all the other temporary, ever-changing passwords as vulnerable as any of the other so called secure methods of payment. What’s more, it makes end to end encryption useless as
well.
