Like any fraud prevention tool for e-Commerce, this one isn’t the be-all. Good fraud prevention relies on a multi-facet approach that depends on the business model, past experience, and overall risk of the product or service. A recently announced fraud prevention tool from Pramana looks like it might have the potential to help some businesses take a bite out of fraudulent purchases.
With pricing pegged at from 50 cents to $2 per user or per transaction, this isn’t a cheap tool for the faint of heart but, like any business expense, if the ROI is there it’s worth it. Due to be released next month, it might be something for high risk merchants to take a look at.
